I can understand why he doesn't want gold stars. Apart from there being a hundred assholes who post here gold stars are for kindergarten. I've been ragging on Alex for years to dump the stars for a thumbs up option. No progress.

Look at that Japanese couple who post the same DOA model with different clothing every week .. They'll get 20 10-ratings before the mod gets 5 downloads. How do they do it?

They live for gold stars.IMO if those stars are so important you have to cheat to get them, you have no fuckin class.

I figure about 80% of the 1/10 rating I have are from someone who has one comment, signed up the same day, have made no contribution to the community, no uploads and 1 comment. Think about it .. who are those name-less, faceless people who enjoy shitting all over someone's hard work?

There are some kids/trolls (?) around just giving negative rating for people mods,without even testing them.

I don't have the rating system in my mind when i make a mod but it is kinda sad, the rating system used to give us a good feedback to see what people werre thinking about the mods and now it just lost its purpose.

I'm okay with that since i started modding SA back in there, like 8, 7 years ago and my blog doesn't have a rating system. I started porting my mods to GTA Inside 'cause it is a great server to keep the files and everybody knows this website (Besides that servers like mediafire,sendspace always delete stuffs). Then, since it is not important i just took it down for my mods, getting the feedback from the comments like i always had on my blog.
