Wasn't it easier in Maya? I'm learning modeling and with maya I do things that I can't find in 3Ds Max

@Anonymous_GTA
I rarely used Maya so can't comment on that. But I can say I never ended up using a different program (blender, c4d, maya, etc) for modelling - all on 3ds Max.

What things you can't find in 3ds max you can do with Maya?

@Zeneric some that are basic such as ... merge, delete vertices, make a bridge, connect two vertices so that it is only 1 ... also in 3ds max you must apply editable poly to be able to apply any tool and not in Maya, there only you apply without "asking permission" to geometry

@Anonymous_GTA

"Backspace" to delete vertices leaving faces/edges intact (just reshaped / not removed), and "Del" to delete vertices and also remove faces/edges where the verticles sat on.

Snap a vertice to another vertice and then weld them to make them into one verticle. https://ptpimg.me/ue7v35.png

I rarely use Editable Mesh but it's still useful for something else Editable Poly cannot do. You need just Editable Poly most of times.
