everybody on this site is probably an expert on everything related to modding this game BUT it wouldn't be too much trouble to ask for a readme file with the sound mod file, would it? and if it does than you are too fucking lazy...10x

This is Just because our "inteligent friend" teekay didn't put a readme file.

Just open your Spark Iv. Then go to: Grand Thief Auto IV ; Pc ; Audio ;Sfx ; and then open Streamed_vehicles.rpf

What you have to do is to replace the sound in the downloaded. I do not know which car is going to sound like this... but i'm going to try all the cars i think it could be a muscle car...

A'ight guys. I am the author, this was posted on a friends account. I did make the mod.

The sound, as it is now, replaces the : Dukes, Vigero, SabreGT, And one more I cant remember. It can be renamed to work with other cars, by only changing the "3" in the filename to a "2" or even a "1".

To install this, you go to spark. Click open, navigate to your GTAIV Directory (in steam, its Steamapps, common, GTAIV[You need to find the directory where the EXE's are]), open PC, inside that you will see "audio", open that, inside that you will see "sfx", open that. Find STREAMED_VEHICLES.rpf in there. Import MUSCLE_CAR_3.ivaud into here, and save. You dont need to rebuild, just save. Then, find (or spawn with a carspawner) a Dukes. Viola!

Im developing another sound right now. Keep an eye around here. ;)

I must say this sound is alittle better than original sound of car.

But you missing a piece and that is the awesome sound of a V8 when you drive it slow. You gonna feel the power but here the power is gone!!
