This mod replaces textures of the Outlook Park & surroundings with higher resolution versions (mainly 1024px) of the original textures (256px or 512px) with new added normal map, specular map & even parallax map textures. All textures are lore friendly, since they are literally upgraded versions of the original textures. Compatible with every patch and visual mod, but textures probably look better without ENB mods. No known streaming issues or other bugs/problems.

-Improves almost every texture from the Outlook Park and some around the park (Like the garage area, some rooftops, Perestroika aka Mr. Faustin's night club and more).
-Includes parallax textures, mainly for ground textures, but also for some wall and rooftop textures.
-Most textures without normal/specular maps now have those and textures with normal/specular maps have new improved ones with higher resolutions.
-Diffuse/Color Textures are upscaled with AI (Topaz AI Gigapixel) by x2/x4 to match 1024px compared to original 256px or 512px resolutions.


-Installation instructions can be found inside the readme.txt text file.


Update 22.12.2018:
-Reduced grass color
-Improved park pathway texture with leaves
-Improved garage area textures
-Fixed some texture flickering
-Compatibility with vanilla shaders and ENB

Update 24.03.2019:
-Better lods
-Different tunnel texture
-Pathway texture improvement
-More improved textures
-Restored billboards to default (Used another mod in development of this mod but its fixed now lol)

Update 13.02.2020:
-Restored a lod billboard texture to default (It was a different one from another modification. Finally completely fixed now.)
-Higher quality Outlook Park signs around the park
-Added alternative more map details like more vegetation, food stands, benches and more around the whole park

Update 29.02.2020:
-2x upscaled texture resolution for more default textures
-Restored garage area textures to default but the resolution is 2x upscaled
-Improved park path's textures
-Added superlod textures (lod transitions are perfect now)

Update 12.03.2020:
-Fixed some way too reflective textures at rainy/thunder weather
-Improved normal map and specular map shader values for ground textures
-Added normal maps to some default textures for more details
-Other small texture improvements

Update 17.05.2020:
-Added parallax shader for grass and stone pavement

Update 08.06.2020:
-Slightly increased parallax effect for the grass texture
-Updated normal and specular map textures for park hut roof

Update 19.10.2020:
-Updated grass parallax texture

Update 04.12.2020:
-Added parallax shader for the bridge tunnel cobble stone texture
-Improved shader values and normal/specular maps for park path and grass texture
-Restored 24/7 Supermarket textures (It was a 7/11 real life texture before by my mistake, sorry)
-Grass s-lod texture has been adjusted in color to the new grass texture from the last update

Update 25.02.2021:
-Updated parallax texture for the stone path
-Slightly less saturation for the grass texture
-Improved grass texture's slod
-Updated normal and specular map textures

Update 03.09.2024:
-Reverted all custom textures back to heavily improved vanilla textures to make things more lore friendly looking and to match other vanilla textures
-Added a lot more parallax textures
-Added a lot more improved textures for Outlook Park surroundings
-Fixed & improved Outlook Park fence texture
-Much more stuff I unfortunately forgot about

Great mod! Is the 7/11 store under the dukes expressway intentional though? Seems kinda odd. Other than that the park looks great.

Do you planing to continue this work, it will be GREAT if you update (paralax it...) all lawns in the map!!!

@t-ru I was actually already trying to parallax grass grounds but results aren't that great due to two reasons. The parallax effects looks very stretched and odd due to bad UV's (I guess) and grass ground texture are already using a terrain shader so if I change it to parallax texture transitions from terrain shader won't work anymore. The UV problem also appears on Happines Island grass grounds unfortunately.

@falcogray I mean to make all lawns like in the Outlook, Middle park, I just use parallax word, I love how you make them and when it's rainy there is no incorect reflections on them.

@MiesThies Probably conflicting with another mod from your modloader folder, because it doesn't look like that for me ingame, as you can see on the 4th screenshot above (Bottom right shot). Any chances that you use Various Fixes or anything else that modifies map related models and could conflict? If you use a modloader, make sure the .img of this texture mod haves a higher priority inside your load order. This should fix your issue.
