Ever noticed the hidden bus system in GTA: Vice City?
? Now it’s fully playable - with custom routes & timetables!
This is a completely playable and built-in scenario within GTA Vice City — no mods or external tools required.
When I was younger, I had so much fun driving buses through the streets of Vice City. One day I noticed that some of the NPC buses actually seemed to follow a route. That sparked my imagination, and I started building my own schedules and route plans based on what I observed — and what I imagined could exist in the world of Vice City.
Now, I want to share this experience with all of you. I’ve designed several original, fully visualized bus timetables and a route map to help bring this immersive mini-game to life.

? Tips & Features of This Scenario:
• I personally prefer driving in first-person view - the buses feel much better that way!
• To check for new passengers in first-person-view, press Q or E (or both) to look back. On PlayStation, use R2 or L2 (or both) to look back. On Xbox “right Stick” or “click on right stick” to look back.
• Some curves and intersections are nearly impossible to navigate without using both lanes - just be careful not to hit cars, pedestrians, or streetlights
• On sharp turns, stay close to the center line or road edge so your field of view stays balanced.
• Try to stop with the bus door close to the stop sign If the sign blocks the door, passengers will walk around the bus to the other side - just reverse a meter to fix that.
• If cars blocking the bus stop, you can drive on the opposite lane and they will board, just need more time!
• Stick to the schedule: after 15 seconds, leave the stop - even if more guests are still arriving.
• Passengers will go to the bus stop sign, turn 180°, and then board. That’s how you know they’re want enter!
• Earn $5 in-game cash for every passenger that boards your bus.
• If a passenger boards and you start to early you will not earn $5 in-game cash - but on your next stop it will be billed!
• Sometimes it’s better to wait some seconds on the Bus stop until the traffic light turns green - just to avoid chaos ahead and maybe earn more money ?
• If another bus is already at the stop, wait behind the bus, it will drive away after three people left the bus, two of them will board on your bus ?
• Passengers never get off - they stay on the bus the whole tour.
• Some stops have endless boarding if you're lucky!
• You can use my four planned routes or get creative and design your own.
• Bus Lines 2 & 4 (not sure about that) follow the original NPC routes. Line 1 & 3 are custom-made combinations of both.
• If you've purchased Sunshine Autos, you can store and repair your bus there.
• The Malibu Club is the start/end station for Lines 1 & 2. You can take breaks near the Vice Point Hotel Building on the left side of the road.
• The Escobar International Airport is the terminal for Line 3 & 4. You can rest in the parking zone (drive right, then left, and again right) and return to the stop 15 minutes before the next round.
• Some routes require full map access (after progressing in the game).
• All timetables are calculated with 15 seconds per stop. Drive normally, follow the rules, and they’ll match up well, if you are delayed you can drive faster or stop shorter period of time.
• Be prepared to drive around accidents or pedestrians sometimes.
• You can do a "Night Express" version on Lines 2 & 4 - only stop when a passenger is waiting, best played between 17:00 and 05:00.
• On Lines 1 & 3, a full course usually takes around 40 minutes.
• On Lines 2 & 4, a full course usually takes around 24 minutes.
• All times are written in 24-hour format.
• Avoid hitting police cars - getting a wanted level can ruin your route!
• Don’t worry about perfection - just find your rhythm and have fun!
