Chainfist from Quake 2 Mission Pack: Ground Zero

Chainfist converted directly from Quake 2 Mission Pack: Ground Zero. The model and texture are original, both extracted directly from the original game folder.

That's exactly it, Chainfist replaces Chainsaw!!

The Chainfist mod includes a "chainsaw.ifp" file and a "ped.ifp" file which are used to make CJ and the other characters perform the hitting animations and feel the blows correctly. CAREFULLY READ THE "READ ME" INSTRUCTION FILES (AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH, BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE AND SPANISH) TO CORRECTLY INSTALL THE MOD.

Every effort has been made to place the Chainfist in CJ's hand as realistically as possible.

CJ holds the Chainfist in a similar manner to the grip seen in Quake 2 Mission Pack: Ground Zero. Also, skinny CJ can duck and walk low while holding it. It was not possible to duplicate this for the other physical forms of CJ (muscular and fat).

The chainsaw slashes were replaced with knife slashes so that CJ cuts similar to what is seen in Quake 2 Mission Pack: Ground Zero.

The original Chainfist icon has also been added.

Updates

Version 1.2 (April 1st, 2024): The weapon was again extracted and converted to GTA SA from scratch. The previous version had incorrect scale and textures.
