In Bavaria, police cars are still green/silver. As this is a unit from Munich, the colors are correct.

I totally understand you. But well, I just don't see it as a copyright, what legally wouldn't even be possible, that's just what I expect from the user.
My models are usually locked anyways, this is in the most cases also a decision taken by authors of parts used. The only thing that matters is publicly uploading the car, everybody can change as much as he wants for his own game.

But as I said before, that's just my point of view. I know several guys agreeing on me, I also know some who don't (and most of them release their models locked, though)...

I basically had to convert the whole car again because the actual converter didn't even detach properly and screwed all materials. Way too much people don't care about bugs or other inaccuracies.

And no, it doesn't sound like I own copyrights at all, I've written it's Ubisoft's model. Though, I can't imagine Ubisoft appreciates the people uploading mods and sharing them with and adf.ly link, a lot even saying it's their own work. And yes, that happens way too often.

It's great for you you're creating mods for such a long time, I'm also modding since 2010 and I also know how to model, convert and make textures.
If you trust everybody that he's not one of those guys mentioned above, alright, but I don't, and I often see people acting like they have to confirm my point of view.

@SkylineGTRFreak: I put a lot of time in working on mods. So I think I may decide if I want people to ask me first before they upload it on another website?
I'm really getting sick of people that don't respect a modders free (!) work at all.
