Dan Houser, vice president of creative development for Rockstar Games, revealed some new information about episode 1: "Lost and Damned" will be available for Xbox360 on February 17th.

The main character of the first episode is Johnny Klebitz, who is already known because there were some missions with Elizabeta and Ray.

Dan Houser said:

"Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background. I can't go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City."

Furthermore, Niko is expected to appear in some situations and some of GTA IV's secrets will also be revealed.

Rockstar Games published nine new screenshots and four videos from the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV. In this material GTA IV's own video editor is presented. Go watch it!

After 18 months of hard work Stefan "The Q" Kinnl hat finished his GTA movie "The Second Death of Dan Debraska". You can either download the movie in good quality or watch it right now as a stream. These are the words from the author himself about his project:

"There are many GTA videos out there, but just a few GTA movies! With my newest piece of work I wanted to beat everything that's been there yet. On the one hand with an interesting and intelligent story and on the other hand with an almost perfect production that uses all possibilities of the engine. After one and a half years of hard work here is the final result:

Twenty minutes of pure action and surprising turns. This film will also be my farewell from the GTA machinima scene, cause I do not have the time for further projects. This is why I want to thank all the people who supported and helped me over the years. This movie is also supposed to be a motivation for all the young film makers. The same way I have been inspired, I want to show what is possible when you have a goal and work hard for achieving it.

The guys from IGN.com just released a preview of the PC version of GTA IV: The article takes a closer look at the graphical differences between the gaming console and the pc version.
As might have been expected, the pc has a better anti-aliasing, extended draw distance and less pop-up. And these are the system requirements which are the result of these improvements:
