In earlier versions, the SWAT team's attire might have been relatively simple. In 1984, team members wore black PASGT Kevlar helmets, sunglasses, T-shirts of various colors, bulletproof vests, blue jeans, and combat boots. In 1986, there was a change in their attire: they wore blue PASGT Kevlar helmets and black balaclavas, blue combat uniforms with armbands on their sleeves, along with simple bulletproof vests and multi-functional belts. Their main equipment included Uzi submachine guns, and they also used Beretta 92F pistols or M1911 pistols. In some missions, they would also use MP5 submachine guns, sniper rifles, and even deploy tear gas.
