En realidad, "Anime" es un termino de origen Frances que significa "Animado", el cual Japon en 1985 adapto para referirse a las caricaturas de la televisión.
Por lo cual si, un anime es una caricatura, solo que los denominados "Otakus" se piensan que solo se le refiere a la animación Japonesa.
