First of all, huge respect for this project — the skyline and scale of the WTC buildings fit San Fierro incredibly well, especially from a distance. This is one of the few SF mods that actually understands verticality.
That said, I want to report a consistent collision / invisible wall issue that appears when this mod is used alongside other San Fierro city mods (specifically New Fierro, but likely any mod that edits SF IPLs/IDEs).
Issue details:
Invisible walls appear around and inside the WTC area
Player collides with empty space where no visible geometry exists
Vehicles suddenly stop or flip due to hidden collisions
Happens even when LODs are not visible, suggesting leftover or overlapping COL entries
Likely cause (technical):
Overlapping or duplicated IDE object IDs with other SF mods
Collision (.col) files not properly replaced or removed
Old SF collision data still active beneath the new geometry
IPL conflicts where multiple mods reference the same interior/exterior slots
From testing, this doesn’t seem like a simple streaming issue — it feels like legacy San Fierro collision data is still being loaded alongside the WTC objects.
Suggestions (if you’re open to it):
Assigning unique object IDs that don’t overlap with common SF mods
Providing a version without collision, or with optional COL files
Cleaning unused collision meshes in the WTC area
A compatibility note or patch for New Fierro / major SF remodel mods
I genuinely think this mod could be a core piece of any San Fierro overhaul (especially NYC-style builds) if these collision conflicts were addressed. I’d be happy to test or help narrow down which IDE/COL entries are causing the issue.
Thanks for your work — this project clearly had a lot of effort put into it.
