Description

A beautiful beast.

Info:

This car originally started out as the BMW 3.0 CSL Group 5 model from CSR Classics.

Most of the modified areas were all custom made, with some parts taken from the Sentinel Classic.

The interior was taken from the Michelli, with the vintage bucket seats from the 190Z.

All of the engine bay and underside detail had to be added to the car, as the original model was made for a mobile game.

The wheels are heavily modified from my Sentinel Classic convert, with custom made slick racing tire textures.

A few extras are included, a windscreen banner, front foglights (that can be turned on with a trainer), and a rear EU license plate.

There are four liveries included with the download, two of which are based on the BMW Motorsport liveries used on the real cars.

If you prefer the detail on the liveries to be higher quality, then install the optional textures file in the "HQ Liveries" folder.

Or if you prefer to not have any liveries and just have the car blank, then install the texture in the "No Liveries" folder.

And as always, the car has proper LOD's.

Credits:

Vehicle design and inspiration based on a concept sketch by SilentSoul21.

Original BMW 3.0 CSL Group 5 model from CSR Classics by Boss Alien Ltd and Mad Atom Games.

Ripped by DMN at gamemodels.ru.

Converted to GTA IV and heavily edited by Thundersmacker.

UV mapping for liveries by ThatOneHick.

"Coolhand" Castrol homage livery and EU plate sticker by TheSecretPower.

"Black Ice" livery and rear "Zion LM" badge design by Dynamo.

Other car parts and etc. used in the making of this car are from GTA IV and GTA V cars by Rockstar Games.

Notes:

You can replace any 2-door vehicle with the Zion LM. Though it would be recommended to add it rather than replace another car.

Update V1.1 Changelog:

-fixed door, bonnet, and boot physics so that they should now react to the cars movement when open.

Update V1.2 Changelog:

-revised handling.
-setup the rear tires so they are accurate to the real car with bigger and wider tires in the back.

PLEASE REPLACE ALL DATA LINES WHEN UPDATING TO VERSION 1.2!

THIS CAR NOW REQUIRES THE LIBERTYPLATES MOD TO FUNCTION PROPERLY!

Be sure to set the "FixDoubleSkidmark" setting to 1 in the LibertyPlates.ini file for the back wheels to not leave double skidmarks.

@jordi1999 Yeah, I will. With Thundersmacker's permission, of course. Actually, I simply took a break to improve on what I've learned about vehicle conversion. My old conversions have many flaws, but I will release new conversions soon, which will definitely be better.

How do the fog lights work? I've wanted to do that on a few of my mods, but never figured out how to make it work.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! This was a very fun project to do!

And stay tuned, as a stock Zion Classic based on the 3.0 CS will be coming sometime in the future.
