Found out that this doesn't really work with Complete Edition. TBOGT and TLAD crash after loading in. It only works in IV. Need to find a different one that actually works with all 3 chapters. Tested this with no other mods loaded except FusionFix.

@ItsRealYulikShvabNo, I still would have written my comment. All due respect, I was only pointing out what is not in your description. Yes, you say it's a test. But most people come to this category expecting add-on maps, not betas/tests.

If you would've explained that "this map mod does not work alongside the vanilla map, and may not be compatible with your current savegame, and/or collection of other map mods" (which all happen to be true in this case), then I wouldn't have said anything.

In order for your mod to work properly, you cannot have any other map-related mods added, or you get anything from object-popping, to a CTD on loading.

Sorry you took initial offense to my comment. I honestly would think this would be a GREAT map add-on if it was located up North (to simulate Northern NY State, which happens to be mountainous terrain) and connected to the vanilla map to make it very playable with your existing game.

...if you don't know GTA lore, then you might think this is a "fix". It's more of an anti-fix really.....

"Emporer" was an intentional joke by R*. The Lokus is the GTA version of the real-life cheapest Lexus. And most experienced car people know that Lexus products are the "poor man's luxury cars", because they are well known for their really poor performance and low price, even if they "look" luxurious.

Also, to emulate the real-life Lexus performance, the Lokus was made equally bad in acceleration, top speed, and overall sluggishness.

Hence the term, Em-poor-er. The badging was NOT a mistake. (This is well-documented.)

Also, the Lokus and the Emperor are 2 completely different cars. With the actual Emperor being a copy of the old Cadillac. So it completely baffles me as to why this small creation was made.

Works great if you are only doing GTA IV. Unfortunately whether you have Complete Edition or the older EFLC, it breaks TBOGT and TLAD. You get a CTD when trying to load into either of those.

IV will still load and the mod will work great with Niko, but that defeats the point.

This is happening because this mod changes one file in \common\data\cdimages\script.img, and is missing the script lines needed by TBOGT and TLAD. (This mod came out in 2010, but apparently just before EFLC was released for PC. I'm guessing that's why the older file was used.)

If someone is interested enough to make a newer version of this mod, with the "ambairpotarea.sco" file that came out with EFLC (or even better, the one from CE), it would probably work with all 3 episodes. Sadly, it's not important enough for me to make one.

Quality is low? (Referring to the comment from 2014.) Are you kidding. Even now 10 years later I can see so much detail on this model. HQ textures. Lots of moving parts. Very high quality. That commenter must have had problems.

Only bad part is the modellers choice of sound. (He picked the Turismo.) The old Grand Prix cars did not sound like the supercars of today. They sounded just like muscle cars, except louder. (I know this because I race vintage race cars at several tracks around the UK & US.) The Dukes or the SabreGT are better choices.
