Hi guys, I have a little doubt

I have the Steam version of SA, but I had to use another .exe (The US one to be more specific) This .exe disabled my steam in-game functions so I want to know if I can add this .exe to my Steam library to reactivate them without problems or if I will have any problem for using a not original .exe
