I've got 80-120 fps.

made game super buggy. inside buildings would drop frames drastically, sky turns red a lot of the time, doesn't really look that great either just basically turn your brightness up to like 90 it'll be the same except it won't make everything look shiny

Hm, somehow I have the same "problem" like blackdust, the game doesn't looks like on the screenshots or videos. Looks better, but still a bit pale, or not as colorfull as yours on the pics / vids.

Wew. I got 35-55 fps on my 980 Ti (1080p). I think it's because the game is poor optimized. :(

SO this is a great Mod for Graphics.
AND: You dont need the Patches because I have the version 1.0.0 and I can play it with no errors.
And to the thing with Nvidia Graphiccards- My GT 430 (1GB Ram) has no overheat when I play it, just the normal temp. So you dont need to worry about it :)
