TeamFalken, the HSR is to the south of Acter Industrial Park. When you get close enough the map's objects will pop up first, followed by the map itself.

Nevermind, it turned out it was a conflict with Drift Paradise. :D

This is an awesome mod! There are only two things wrong with it: one, the location is kind of weird; it would probably be best if you could stick it maybe in Northeast Alderney for the next version. Also, I found it a bit disappointing that the collision detection for the area outside the 'Ring was spotty at best, so maybe you could also patch that up for the next version. Other than that, this is an amazing mod, especially for your first world conversion. Well done!

Iryu, I just got through trying this map out. It looks like it's headed in the right direction, but it's unfinished. If I may, I'd like to volunteer an over head map from my Gran Turismo encyclopedia, Gran Turismo Wiki. Here's the link:

I know it's a bit small, so I'll describe it for you just in case you can't see it that well.

First things first: the fan entrance comes from the top of the track (perhaps from an auxiliary parking lot with shuttle service to the track, like most racing courses have) and runs alongside the front straight, and then truncates (ends) at the grandstands. Leading along the rest of the front straight and along the outside of Turn 1 is the path which allows fans to get to the Turn 2 stands. On the outside of these, there's a large paved area, which looks to be a parking lot, or, if the track has a shuttle service (which it looks like it has), an area for shuttles to turn around.

Also, just to the fans' left is the bridge (which you have), which leads across the track into the infield. The bridge looks wide enough for a car or shuttle to cross.

At the infield end, the road forks, with one path going to the Turn 1 RV area in the infield, and the other leading across the bridge and going back to the main straight stands via another bridge, going by the racing teams' parking area and the paddock in the process. At the end of the first bridge this path crosses, on the right we see a small parking area for spectators at the top of the hill overlooking Turn 3.

Finally, the competitors' entrance (through which the teams travel on their way to the track) comes in from the right side of the map over the entrance to Turn 5, and links to the regular car parking lot for the teams, before leading over a bridge and truncating at a junction with the shuttle road/fan entrance.

Also note that the lake does not surround the track; rather, it only takes up the Turn 1 portion of the infield, before letting out into a larger lake to the bottom-right of the track's area.

Oh, and before I forget, some other issues which need to be fixed in the next version:

1. You need to open up pit road.

2. As I'm sure you know, the black textures you've placed which are meant to resemble windows flicker like there's no tomorrow.

3. There's no way to access the track via car.

4. You need to finish the back side of the hills. Also, for me, there's a British flag sticking up through the track, which can be annoying when you hit it.

The track was really very fun to drive, and for what it's worth it's a fairly accurate representation of Polyphony Digital's masterpiece. Although the gripes listed above led me to uninstall it, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see what the next update brings. Sorry for the wall of text, by the way. :D

Sporck, first put the folder included in the archive into your GTA IV PC/DATA/MAPS folder, and then open up GTA.dat in common/data. Then, paste "IDE platform:/DATA/MAPS/hsr/hsr.IDE" into any sections which deal with IDE platform files. Do the same for "IPL platform:/DATA/MAPS/hsr/hsr.IPL" - stick that into any sections which deal with IPL platform files. (An important note: there are two types of IPL files: IPL platforming files, which add collision detection, and IPL common files, which are basically IPL platform files which are shared between different parts of the map. DO NOT place an IPL platform file in a section for IPL common files, otherwise you will f*ck your game up badly. The same goes for IDE files,)

Next, go to images.txt and paste "platformimg:/data/maps/hsr/hsr 0" at the bottom under "platformimg:/data/maps/east/bronx_w2 0," and enjoy!
